How to Be a Better Human In Five Steps

I admittedly have some procrastination problems. Some problems worse than others, like cleaning my room, taking out the trash, or calling my mother. But I am only human, like most of you out there. (Extraterrestrials welcome) Wouldn't you like to make your self a better you? Someone who always takes out the trash, who has a twenty pack, someone the ladies smile at. Well I have a few tips for you! They are fairly simple, but I see that far to many people ignore them.

Keep in mind that some of these are fairly offensive, so keep your shorts on and try to take notes!

  1. Drink water, not carbonated sugary shit. I know they are delicious, and some people use them to raise their blood sugar, but come on. They make you fat, they make your teeth weird colors, and if you ever want a shot with a super fit person, it wont happen if you are drinking Coke in front of them.
  2. Brush your teeth on a regular basis! Ask anybody, they all have a stigma against rotting nasty teeth. Plus, when you go in for the kiss, you want to have them coming back for more. Not running to the nearest trash can to vomit.
  3. This one is fairly important if you want to continue having sex with a person after the first time. Take care of your private areas! That means shaving regularly, and especially keeping it smelling as far away from dirty asshole as possible. Girls, I know its uncomfortable to wash it out everyday but there are super cheap over the counter tablets that keep it smelling amazing!
  4. This is a little less personal, but one of the most important! Get some sort of planner, whether its a schedule book, or an Iphone. If you forget an appointment you have the potential to lose friends, lose work opportunities and lose a date. Keep everything that is time sensitive in it, keep phone numbers in it, business cards. Read it very often! Be an adult people can depend on. If you say you are taking a girl to dinner, you better be five minutes early, ready to open the car door for her. Or better yet, if you tell your children (if applicable) that you will take them to the zoo, you better take them to the zoo. Or else they will remember the day you forgot for the rest of their teenage lives.
  5. Regrettably, this is the last tip. Possibly the most important also. You need to learn to balance your life. This is such a difficult thing to do for some people, including myself. You need to find friends to hang out with a couple times a week. Then you need to spend time working on something that needs to get done. Then you need to find a significant other and somehow try not to mix all those lives together. Most likely your girlfriend wont want to play beer pong 5 times a week, so find something that you both like to do, and do it. After a little practice, you will see that you become less stressed and the relationships around you grow stronger. And on a last note, if you are currently socially crippled then you NEED to work on that. Whether it be with a girl, or your friends or work, you need to show them a smile and you need to be interesting to them. Show them that they can depend on you, or that you are a nice guy. This isn't high school, not all girls like the bad boys, they like the cute funny ones now.  Get some business cards, even if you are not in a business. It is sexier than having to get a pen out and writing your name and number on a napkin.
Sadly, that is all I have for you. If you have any questions or comments, feel free and I encourage you to comment.
So have a wonderful day everyone, and stay nerdy!

Wine & Dine, With Double Bonus

Hey my fellow humanoids! Wine is delicious, so is food. So what happens when you get completely shitfasted (Shitfaced & Wasted :D) and start cooking? Absolutely nothing good happens. The host of My Drunk Kitchen is a perfect example of why you shouldn't drink a bottle of wine before you start to cook. Unless you want to make an insanely popular Youtube series. If that's the case, go right ahead. But be careful, Life of Ramen wont be responsible if you burn your face hole off. We will most likely laugh, just saying.

If you didn't know, my team and myself are developing a 2.5 D RPG. We will release some information on it soon, but we would like to show some of the art off. This is a first world preview of our concept art. (Dramatic drum roll)

Photobucket

Pretty epic right? There is plenty more, but we are working on getting it ready for development. If you are interested in any information on the game just leave a comment and we will get back to you.

A New Frontier & The Inevitable Eviction

Today I am stooping down to an all time low. I am talking about my super mysterious, Ramen filled private life. More specifically, I am going through some really hard times and I have met friends that genuinely like me. They are helping me just as I am trying to help them.
These friends have helped me get over the worst break up of my life, they have fed me when I was hungry, and  they all do it without wanting reciprocation. (That's not going to happen >:D)

If any of you are like me, being a nerd in high school meant almost no friends. I am a very attractive male, but since I wanted to become a computer scientist I was shunned. Well I would like to say that it does get better, all the close minded people that treated us like shit are still flipping burgers in our hometowns.
I digress, when you start school, most likely you will be around like minded people that went through the same things you did. That means you don't have a choice but to make connections with people.

In saying all that, I have found the best friends of my entire life. They helped me see that I was being strung along by my ex fiance, and they have helped me with motivation to complete my game. Plus, they are just really fun to hang out with. Five of us are playing Dungeons & Dragons this next Tuesday with some really good wine and beer.
The girl of the group, told me this song reminded her of me. I can see why because I am very damaged goods right now. (Not dramatic about it, I have a very large facade )

Ahhhh Real Life!

Hey everyone that still visits the site on a regular basis. I apologize for the lack of material for the past few days, I am in the middle of trying to pay rent. It's kind of a hard thing to do when you go to a school that makes it impossible to work. But I have a really good post planned out and a not so good one that I am posting anyways. So please hold on till later tonight and you will have either a very sad post or a very very nerdy post.

Thanks again everyone!

Nerdy Nummies & Release Dates

Hey everyone! It is a lovely day here in Florida! As always I am broke and out of cigarettes. But I know how to look at the glass half full, and in doing so I would like to say that is beautiful outside and Nerdy Nummies look delicious!
Nerdy Nummies is a You Tube channel hosted by a beautiful brunette who bakes nerd related things. My favorite being the Zelda shield cake. I guess being politically correct, it is Link's shield.

I would die to have this cake for my next birthday, so if you see this miss pastry goddess, I am waiting!

Zombies and Beer! and chainsaws...

On a normal basis, when I am not doing homework or I am not in lecture, I am hanging out with my friends enjoying beer and some laughs. But after a short time, we need more then our sense of humor to entertain us. So my friend Glen comes to the rescue with this awesome board game called Last Night on Earth.

Last Night on Earth is obviously a zombie survival game, but you can do way more than kill zombies. The zombies act more like an opposing team to what you are trying to accomplish. There are a bunch of missions to choose from and a bunch of players each with their own attributes and benefits.

The most simple mission is to kill 15 zombies before two of your people die. It can be extremely hard, especially if you have a Rambo type on your team. Then of course, there are missions where you have to destroy certain buildings, last till sunrise, etc.

The game might not seem fun at first sight, but after you get the hang of it and introduce beer to the picture your friends start to act out whats happening as the zombies eat Billy. Definitely a good buy if you and your friends like board games or want to get into them.

Indie Game the Movie

Hello everyone! It is four in the morning here in lovely Florida and for some reason I thought I would write tonight's post!

If you are reading this blog, you are probably into video games. Don't you ever wonder about the people that make the games you love? Maybe you thought about what kind of work and ideas go into making a deep powerful game. Well Indie Game the Movie is a documentary all about the lives and creation of some of the best games ever made. It really speaks for itself, and if I said anymore I wouldn't be doing it justice! So watch this short clip and talk about it in the comments.

This movie is set to release sometime this year, but for now you can go onto the website http://www.indiegamethemovie.com/ and request a screening in your local movie theater. If you get enough people to ask for a screening you will likely be able to see it on the big screen! If not, the movie is being released on DVD, and likely other media outlets.

Alright, your homework assignment for the night is to go to http://www.indiegamethemovie.com/ and find out as much information as you can! Get pumped for the momentous occasion! And remember comment and tell your friends, the more views I get the better I will write! Night/morning everyone!

No One Likes Superman Anymore

Hey everyone! Kadajett here, and super apologetic for lack of posts for the last 2 days. I have a perfectly valid excuse that involves lots of wine and Rockband. But that is for another less awesome post. Today I want to show off what I am reading from The New 52! I just got Superman action comics #1, and #2. I should really let you know that Superman is one of my least favorite comic book heroes because he is just to damn perfect. Up until recently, he was the golden boy. He couldn't get hurt, he always made the right choice, it was no fun. But now, Superman can get his ass handed to him! He gets angry, and he makes decisions in a moral grey area.

The art looks great thanks to the amazing Rags Morales!
If you have never read Action Comics, old or new, they go back to when Superman had just lost his parents.(the Kents) He feels more like a god than a human, and he sometimes takes vigilantism to far.
So if you are looking for something new to read, go pick up the series from your local comic shop! Support your local comic shop, and support the people that make the comics so our kids have some quality reading material!  Any questions or comments, or general trash talking just leave a message below in the comments section! Peace Yall!

Good evening everyone! Kadajett here.
If any of you are like me, I know you always like to hear new music. Music that can make you smile and cry, and I have a band that will do both to you almost simultaneously! The name of this band is Pomplamoose (Grapefruit!).

Pomplamoose is one of the many bands made famous by Youtube. They stand apart from the crowd with their upbeat melodies and a 20's singer voice.
Have you ever heard of a video song? No... Not a music video, a video song! If the video song wasn't created by Pomplamoose, then it was surely made popular by them.
A video song has no lip syncing, in fact, every sound you hear is shown throughout every video at some point. This allows the sound to be more realistic, and it lets the lead singer Natalie show off her cuteness without being fake.
This band has grown exponentially since I started listening to them, and they have yet to sell out! They seem to be very nice people and often talk about donating to charities on their videos.
If you listen to a charitable band, you might become charitable yourself! So listen to them, embrace the awesome. Break from the normal, and if you show a lady this, she will think you are a cultured individual!

Remember, video games don't kill people, idiots do! - Kadajett

Hey everyone, Kadajett is back! I plan to take back my top spot in Google with force. Stick around to see topics covering everything from making video games to the nutritional value of ramen. Expect a post once a day for the far foreseeable future. I hope you stick with us because it is going to be a very nerdy ride.
